The plain-English overview

Want your team and AI agents working side by side on the same docs and tasks? Dust calls itself multiplayer AI. That just means people and AI agents working together in the same place, on the same work. Here's the short version from Dust's official site, as of Oct 28, 2026.

The big idea: Dust brings your company's context together, from Slack, your CRM, your docs, and other tools, so agents can answer with the full picture and take action. You stay in control, with human review built into the workflow.

Here's what it offers, in Dust's words:

  • Agents with company context: connectors to tools like Slack, Notion, Google Drive, GitHub, Salesforce, and Zendesk.
  • Teamwork: people and agents share context, reusable skills, connected tools, and human review.
  • Model choice: 20+ models from OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Mistral, and more, so you can pick the right one for each job.
  • Control: permissions for data, tools, and agents, plus audit logs and usage reports.

What do teams use it for? Dust lists examples like drafting support replies from your knowledge base, turning resolved tickets into internal docs, account research for sales, scoring leads, drafting proposals, writing campaign briefs, translating copy, and drafting social posts.

On security, Dust says it's SOC 2 Type II certified, with data residency in the US or EU.

Pricing, as listed (excluding VAT): the Business plan is for teams of up to 100 people, and you pick a seat type for each person.

  • Free: 0€, with 500 credits for life. Good for trying it out.
  • Pro: 30€ per seat per month, or 24€ billed yearly, with 8,000 credits a month.
  • Max: 150€ per seat per month, or 120€ billed yearly, with 40,000 credits a month.
  • Enterprise: talk to sales.

A few details worth knowing: credits depend on the model and the task, so a quick chat uses few and a deep research task uses more. Unused credits don't roll over. And if you run out, an admin can allow capped extra usage for Pro and Max seats.

A quick note: the customer quotes and counts on Dust's site are its own marketing, so we've left them out.
