What it does
- Searches your public product docs before answering, and cites the page it used.
- Drafts your own first reply, instead of only saying "I'll loop in support."
- Prefers live sources when you ask it to draft a reply: meeting notes, then related Slack or Gmail if connected, then docs.
Setup in 4 steps
- Click Add to Grok Bot above, or Import Bot on the listing.
- Review what it includes and connects to, then click Add Bot (xAI's guide).
- Answer its setup questions: the customer question, your public product documentation URL.
- Give it a first small job, check the result, then turn on scheduled jobs.
Example
A small online shop that sells coffee grinders (our example scenario)
- Paste a customer email asking how to adjust the grind size.
- Add the link to your help page.
- Read the draft and its source link.
- Send it yourself.
Tips
- Keep your help docs current. Answers can only be as good as the docs.
- Connect Gmail or Slack later, once you trust the drafts.
