On October 15, 2026, Wix announced that Symphony by Wix, its multi-agent system for small businesses, now connects to Link, Stripe's digital wallet, so its agents can make payments for the owner, with each purchase approved first.
Ever had a supplier invoice sit in your inbox until it was late? Wix says its Symphony agents can now handle the payment step, with your approval. Here's what Wix's official press release says, as we read it on Oct 28, 2026.
What Wix announced on Oct 15, 2026:
- Symphony by Wix: Wix calls it a standalone multi-agent system for small and medium-sized businesses and solopreneurs. It launched in August.
- Link connection: Symphony now connects to Link, Stripe's digital wallet, so its agents can make payments on the owner's behalf.
- You approve each purchase: Wix says owners review and approve each spend request, and approval can be given within a 10-minute window from any device, by WhatsApp or SMS.
- Safety: Wix says Symphony's agents never see your underlying payment details, Stripe uses a secure payment token or one-time virtual card, and each card is capped at the approved amount.
- Availability: rolling out to Symphony users with a US-based Link account, with payments in US dollars.
Examples Wix gives:
- A candle shop's best-selling scent drops below five units, and Symphony reorders from the usual supplier.
- A supplier invoice arrives on a Friday, and Symphony confirms it matches the purchase order before paying.
- A farmers market closes applications in three days, and Symphony pays the entry fee.
- A customer leaves a two-star review about a late delivery, and Symphony sends a gift card the same day.
Who should pay attention: small businesses that already use Wix and want help with reorders and routine bills.
A small-business example: a bakery on Symphony sets a rule to reorder flour from its usual mill when stock gets low. When the text arrives, the owner checks the amount, approves it, and the order is paid. A new supplier, or a changed amount, gets a closer look first. (Our illustration of what Wix describes.)
Questions to ask before you let any agent pay:
- Which kinds of payments should it ask about, and which should it never make?
- What's the most you'd approve from a text message?
- How will you check that an invoice is real before you approve it?
Plain-English terms:
- Multi-agent system: several AI agents working together on different jobs.
- Digital wallet: a stored, secure way to pay without sharing card numbers each time.
- One-time virtual card: a card number made for a single purchase.
How to stay in control:
- Start with small, repeat purchases from suppliers you know.
- Read every approval request before you tap yes.
- Review payments weekly with your bookkeeper.
