Your weekly usage
- At a glance: the changelog says Usage & Billing shows your weekly usage and plan, and the chat warns you when you're near your weekly limit.
- Account menu: the account menu keeps showing your weekly usage, even when a refresh fails.
- If it can't load: Usage & Billing keeps the last reading with Try again, even after a relaunch.
Setting limits
Per the changelog, you can set a monthly on-demand limit in Usage & Billing. Buying credits, turning on auto top-up, and saving a spend limit show a confirmation or an error in the desktop app. Hitting a usage or spend limit shows a limit banner, with buttons like Upgrade, Set Spend Limit, or Request Upgrade to ask your admins.
Trials and teams
xAI says you can end a free trial early with Cancel Trial in Usage & Billing, which removes any remaining trial credits. On teams, teammates' use of a Team Bot counts against their own allowance. And Settings shows a single banner for combining your subscriptions into one plan.
