Good fit for (our take)Shops and service businesses with a handful of competitors worth keeping an eye on.
Starts fromA list of competitor URLs you paste. Its listing says it builds the watch list and takes a first snapshot right away.
Scheduled jobsIts listing says the weekly brief and daily launch check stay off until you turn them on.

What it does
- Keeps a short list of competitor pages under watch on the public web.
- Compares their pricing, product, positioning, and hiring pages with the copy it saved last time.
- Reports only the changes that matter, with a source link on every claim.
Setup in 4 steps
- Click Add to Grok Bot above, or Import Bot on the listing.
- Review what it includes and connects to, then click Add Bot (xAI's guide).
- Answer its setup questions: your company and your own site, which competitors to watch, how big a change has to be before it tells you, your timezone, brief day and hour, and where the brief goes.
- Give it a first small job, check the result, then turn on scheduled jobs.
Example
An independent gym with three competitors in town (our example scenario)
- Paste each rival's pricing and class schedule pages.
- Let it take the first snapshot.
- Turn on the weekly brief.
- When a rival drops a price, decide calmly whether you need to respond.
Tips
- Watch pricing and offer pages first. They change the most.
- Keep the list short so the brief stays readable.
