Zoomtopia 2026: Zoom's Unified Context Layer and New My Notes Features

Oct 20, 2026

At Zoomtopia on October 20, 2026, Zoom announced a Unified Context Layer that links meeting conversations with documents and apps, plus My Notes Workflows, ZoomMate Agent Teams, and MCP servers. Several features roll out from October 2026 into 2027.

Do you leave Zoom calls and then spend twenty minutes writing up what happened? Zoom says its newest AI features aim to fix that. Here's what Zoom's Zoomtopia press release says, as we read it on Oct 28, 2026.

A Unified Context Layer. Zoom says it links conversation history from meetings, phone, and chat with relevant documents and data, across Zoom and connected third-party apps, with configurable settings and controls for access.

What's new, with Zoom's expected timing:

  • My Notes Workflows: turn meeting summaries into follow-up work in tools like Zoom Chat and Salesforce, including custom workflows you describe in plain language (expected October 2026).
  • Enriched notes: links shared screens, slides, and in-meeting chat to moments in a searchable transcript (expected November 2026).
  • Follow the meeting: personalized transcripts and summaries for people who miss all or part of a meeting (expected December 2026).
  • ZoomMate Agent Teams: specialized AI agents that work together (available now).
  • MCP servers: Zoom says developers and AI agents can now use Zoom capabilities outside the Zoom app (available now).

What this means for you: First, if you already use Zoom, watch for My Notes Workflows in your account. Next, check that anything an AI sends after a meeting is reviewed by a person first. Then, tell people when AI notes are on.
