The small-business highlights of Grok Bot 0.77 and the releases just before it: a Permissions section, Vault payments and the Vault itself, multi-question cards, 1Password sign-in, Import Memory, and Order Concierge and Deal Watcher templates.
xAI's Grok Bot changelog lists version 0.77.0, dated October 26, 2026, which also includes 0.76.0. It's a long list. Here are the parts most useful to a small business owner, from the changelog we checked on Oct 28, 2026.
Control and approvals:
- Settings has a new Permissions section that lists Auto-review rules under Always Ask and Allow without Asking, each with its own Add Rule button.
- Auto-review approval cards now stay open for 30 minutes instead of 10, in the app and in Slack.
- Email draft cards have a Discard button again, so you can drop a draft without sending it.
- Slack message drafts show a preview and who the message notifies.
- Bots can ask several questions on one card that steps through them, with a Your own answer option when none of the choices fit.
Logins and payments:
- 1Password connects without a shared vault. xAI says you approve each login in 1Password, which fills it in the Bot's browser without the Bot seeing it.
- The Vault has a Payments tab where you pick the payment method Bots use first, and you still approve every purchase.
Just before 0.77:
- Version 0.75.5 (October 23) added the Vault, where Bots can save your logins, cards, and contact info and fill them in to sign in or check out.
- Version 0.75.8 (October 24) lets a Bot offer to add, change, or remove one of your Auto-review rules on a card you confirm.
Setup and memory:
- Import Memory, in Settings, brings your preferences and context from another AI assistant into your primary Bot.
- After you connect your first app, the Bot suggests one that pairs with it, like Google Calendar after Gmail.
New templates: - Order Concierge and Deal Watcher templates track orders, refunds, and returns, and watch prices and coupons, never buying without your OK.
For teams: - Team admins can limit Bot sharing to admins.
Some items need a recent app version. The changelog marks those, like 0.68.0 or 0.75.2 and later.
What this means for you: First, open the new Permissions section and check which actions always ask you first. Next, if you use 1Password, the new sign-in option is worth a look. Then, update the app so you get the newest features.
